City info sessions begin May 2

Richmond is launching a series of community information sessions in May relating to growth and change.

Topics will include planning and development, transportation, affordable housing and sustainability. In all, four sessions are planned with three scheduled for this spring and another in the fall.

• Thursday, May 2, 4 to 8 p.m. at Richmond City Hall, 6911 No. 3 Rd

• Thursday, May 16, 4 to 8 p.m. at Cambie Community Centre, 12800 Cambie Rd

• Thursday, June 13, noon to 4 p.m. at West Richmond Community Centre, 9180 No. 1 Rd

• Thursday, Oct. 24, 4 to 8 p.m. at Richmond Cultural Centre, 7700 Minoru Gate

All sessions will follow a drop-in format featuring an array of display boards and supplemented by hand-out materials. A range of initiatives will be showcased, from affordable housing efforts to road network improvement as well as updates on agricultural land policies and ongoing efforts to address climate change.
