Be sure to mark Wednesday, Aug. 22 on your
calendar. It’s going to be a special day.
For the second year, Richmond Public Library
is participating in Public Library Day at the Fair at the PNE. This means that
you simply need to show your library card at the gate and receive admission for
just $6.
If you don’t currently have a library card,
visit a local branch and get yours before Aug. 22. It’s free.
Once at the Fair, be sure to drop by the
Library Zone, near Toon City and the Popnology Exhibit, for some fun and free
activities with staff from B.C. libraries.
Public Library Day is being sponsored by your
local library, Public Library InterLINK, Tim Hortons, Raise a Reader and the
Fair at the PNE.
The Fair at the PNE is Aug. 18 to Sept. 3.
