The BC Liberal Party’s Leadership Election Organizing Committee has announced it will hold its next leadership debate Nov. 22 in Victoria. It will be streamed live at bcliberals.com and on the party’s Facebook page.
This will mark the second in a series of debates that will be held across the province, in advance of selecting a new leader Feb. 5, 2022. The dates of additional leadership debates will be forthcoming.
“As the race to select a new leader continues, this debate is an important opportunity for BC Liberal members to hear directly from the candidates.” said Colin Hansen, co-chair of the party’s Leadership Election Organizing Committee.
To be eligible to vote, the deadline for individuals to join the party is Dec. 17.
