Richmond to host recreation and sport job and volunteer fair

Want to make a difference in Richmond by working or volunteering locally in recreation and sport? Attend the recreation and sport job and volunteer fair on Nov. 18 from 3 to 5 p.m. to learn about the various full-time, part-time and seasonal positions currently available.
Richmond’s community associations and societies are looking for different skills to fill a variety of exciting positions that range from fitness attendants, group fitness instructors, personal trainers, summer camp leaders, preschool and out of school care leaders, youth development coordinators, youth leaders and seniors program instructors. An interesting range of volunteer opportunities are also available to fit personal goals, skills and schedules.
This fair is for those interested in employment in fitness, child care, youth, seniors and seasonal programs delivered by community associations and societies at the city’s recreation facilities, including community centres, arenas and the Seniors Centre at Minoru Centre for Active Living. Bring a resume and get ready to connect with staff about these flexible, varied and rewarding opportunities.
Registration is recommended to attend this fair, taking place at the Seniors Centre at Minoru Centre for Active Living (7191 Granville Ave.).
