It may be the middle of summer, but that didn’t stop Sage from recently donating $3,120 to the Richmond Christmas Fund.

The money was raised at the company’s annual staff carnival, where Sage matched donations made by dozens of employees. It’s the second straight year that proceeds from the event have benefitted the Christmas Fund.

A program of Richmond Cares, Richmond Gives (RCRG), and funded almost entirely by community donations, the Christmas Fund provides grocery vouchers, toys, and gift cards to residents who can’t afford a holiday celebration.

Sage is a longtime supporter of the program. In addition to raising funds, the company organizes office toy drives, and regularly sends staff teams to volunteer in the Christmas Fund Toy Room.

“When it comes to corporate community engagement, Sage leads by example,” says Ryan Luetzen, manager of Resource Development & Communications at RCRG. “This most recent donation to the Christmas Fund further reflects the company’s culture of giving, and the generosity of individual staff members.”
