Richmond’s Urist Cosmetics is making hand sanitizer to help charitable organizations weather the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hand sanitizer is not one of the usual products the company manufactures, says owner Robert Urist. But feeling compelled to help, they recently formulated a hand sanitizer that contains 63 per cent ethyl alcohol.

Their ‘Moisturizing Anti-Microbial Alcohol Hand Cleanser’ is formulated with Aloe Vera to leave hands feeling soft and silky rather than dry.

The hand sanitizer is not for sale, but is offered only by donation to local charitable organizations such as churches and care homes.
